GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's been a dozen years now since Green Bay's all-time leading receiver Donald Driver hung up his cleats for the last time.
But here in Wisconsin we still see him a lot, and on Friday, #80 was in Racine, sharing his NFL expertise with a new generation of future players with SC Johnson Speed and Agility Camp at Case High School.
"It's funny because we were just talking about when I retired, and they were like, "oh, I was just born," Driver said.
Donald Driver spent his day at Case High School running a camp for middle and high school kids, giving them a taste of professional speed and agility training. Driver has run this kind of camp before, and it's really popular.
On Friday, more than 500 kids showed up to meet and work out with an NFL star.
"Just to get the sports performance training that they probably never get, right? And so a lot of these kids, this would be their first time running, first time trying to just learn how to run and jump. And so if we can just teach them change of direction, we give it to them early."
These kids may or may not go on to play football, but they sure looked like they were having fun. Driver and his crew seemed to be enjoying it too.
