MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Don't throw away your old phone, it can be used to help animals.
The Wisconsin Humane Society is part of a cellphone recycling program and they can receive about $100 per phone.
They're also looking for newer phones that can be used to take pictures of animals and help them get adopted.
You can drop off a phone at any open location. Here is more information about donating to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Paige Fix joined us virtually Tuesday morning from the Wisconsin Humane Society to introduce Steel, a 1 1/2-year-old dog.
Steel is a 53 pounds, playful, energetic and loves his toys.
He is microchipped, neutered and vaccinated.
He is available at the Milwaukee campus.
