Driver killed after crashing into cow in Town of Brighton

TOWN OF BRIGHTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha County officials say a man has died after a collision in the Town of Brighton Thursday morning, March 28. The man was identified as 25-year-old Michael Forero. 

Dispatchers received a call just before 5 a.m. after a driver hit a cow in the middle of the road near 31st Street and County Highway B. 

Officials say the entire top/roof of the vehicle was torn off, and the driver was found deceased. 

The vehicle came to a stop in the pasture after crashing through a fence, causing multiple cows to escape. 

All cows were later secured, however the cow that was initially struck was killed.
