RACINE COUNTY (CBS 58) – A woman arrested for OWI told police she crashed her car into a building in Racine County on Sunday after her sandal got stuck on the gas pedal.
The Racine County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened around 5 p.m. in the Village of Yorkville.
A silver BMW sedan crashed into the exterior wall of a truck stop.
The driver, a Racine resident, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for OWI second offense. The woman’s blood alcohol content was measured at 0.21, more than two and a half times the legal limit.
