Drop in humidity coming Monday with a chance for isolated showers
If you're tired of the recent warmth and humidity, then you are in luck because a pattern shift is on the way. After a weekend of tropical humidity and temperatures in the 80s making it feel warmer than 90° in some spots, a cold front will arrive on Monday.
Dew points will likely stay tropical Monday morning before decreasing in the afternoon. By evening it will feel very comfortable.
Despite a cold front pushing through, temperatures won't really drop until the evening. Still expect highs on Monday to reach the middle 80s.
Until the front passes we will still have a chance for isolated showers. Those rain chances have been extremely isolated this weekend with only about 5% of southeast Wisconsin actually seeing any rain. That stays true for Monday with rain possible until the front passes which will likely be in the early afternoon.
The first half of July has been very warm and so far puts Milwaukee as a contender for a top 25 warmest July and summer on record. That will likely change for the second half of the month. The Climate Prediction Center gives out area a 30-40% chance for below-average temperatures through July 29th.
