MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The autopsy report was released for D'Vontaye Mitchell on Friday, Aug. 2.
According to the medical examiner, the immediate cause of death was "restraint asphyxia and toxic effects of cocaine and methamphetamine."
The medical examiner's office also confirmed Mitchell's death was a homicide.
This evening, 33 days after Mitchell died, his family and their attorney are sharing surveillance video from inside and outside the Hyatt Hotel.
Attorney William Sulton said he got the 28 videos through a subpoena. Tonight is the first time they have been made public.
They show Mitchell hit and punched, kicked and dragged for roughly 15 minutes.
He eventually stopped breathing and died outside the hotel.
Mitchell's wife spoke out about the videos.
"You have to hold so much hatred in your heart to take somebody's life like that. You beat him to death. That's horrible. For 15 minutes though," said D'Asia Harmon, D'Vontaye Mitchell's wife.
Officials with the district attorney's office said they are considering the autopsy report and other information as they determine if charges should be filed.
