Early Sunday morning shooting is fatal

The Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Milwaukee’s north side early this morning.   Around 1:55 AM, the Police received reports of gunshots being fired in the area of N 76^th Street between W Melvina Street and Capitol Drive.   When officers arrived they found an unconscious man in a yard.   Milwaukee Fire Department personnel performed CPR on the victim, but the man died of his wounds.   The MPD is investigating the circumstance that lead up to the fatal shooting.
