Elkhorn police investigating attempted child enticement
ELKHORN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Elkhorn police are investigating after receiving a report of an attempted child enticement.
Officials say it happened around 10 a.m. on Jan. 2, on East Market Street in the area of Chelsea Drive.
According to police, two girls, ages 6 and 7, were riding their bikes on the sidewalk when a green car pulled up next to them. Officials say the vehicle was occupied by two males wearing matching green t-shirts.
Police say the passenger was wearing a black ski mask and told one of the girls to get in the car. The girl reportedly yelled "stop," and the vehicle sped away toward Highway 11.
The driver was described as having long hair with a beard. The passenger was described as approximately 30 years old having short black hair with scruffy facial hair, red dots on his face and heavy set.
According to the report, the same vehicle stopped the girls on Dec. 31 in the same neighborhood, and the passenger said "hey" to them.
