MILWAUKEE (CBS58) -- On Sunday, May 12, hundreds of families filled the Milwaukee County Zoo to celebrate Mother's Day.
Moms do a lot for us, and we do not always say how much it means to us.
"It's a big task and I appreciate everything she does,” said Sedrick Wilkes, father of two.
Wilkes's, fiancé' Pria Macklevitz, says motherhood has taught her a lot about herself.
"There's things I didn't even know existed within me, I didn't know I had this much love to give,” said Macklevitz.
It's an extra special day for Erin Saeed, as she celebrates her first Mother's Day.
“I'm excited and happy and my mom is here and just celebrating my baby pretty much.”
Saeed's mom, Kris Moody, made the trip up from Indiana to be with her on their special day.
“I'm gonna cry, both my girls had babies this year so its been quite the year for us,” said Moody.
Moody says her favorite part of her journey as a mother has been seeing her daughter become a parent.
"That's been such a blessing. Getting to watch your kids become parents themselves there's nothing better."
