Family of missing Waukesha County teen files lawsuit against youth treatment facility

CBS 58

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- More than two years after a Waukesha County teenager vanished without a trace, his parents are suing the facility that was supposed to care for him.

Isaiah Cramer was just 16 when he walked away from the Norris Adolescent Center in Vernon back in February of 2024. He hasn't been seen since.

His parents have now filed a wrongful death lawsuit, claiming the facility failed to keep him safe.

The lawsuit says Isaiah had walked away before, and staff knew he needed daily medication for epilepsy.

His family is still awaiting answers about what happened to him.
