Fatal shooting near 17th and Packard in Racine

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The victim has been identified as 56-year-old Byron Beadles of Racine.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS) -- Racine police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near 17th and Packard on Friday, September 1, around 4:29 p.m.

A 56-year-old man was found in an apartment with a single gunshot wound.

He was brought to a local hospital where is died of his injury.

This is an ongoing investigation.
