FBI Milwaukee offers $5K reward for information leading to arrest of bank robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- FBI Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man who they say committed a bank robbery one year ago.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Officials say the robbery occurred around 4:49 p.m. on Sept. 20, 2023, at the PNC Bank near North Avenue and Farwell on Milwaukee's east side.

FBI Milwaukee says the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller, implied he had a firearm and demanded cash before fleeing the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40-50 years old, about 5'10" and weighing about 175 pounds. During the robbery, he wore a blue, floppy hat, black sunglasses, a white hospital mask, tan button-up long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Officials say earlier in the day, the suspect was seen riding a Milwaukee County Transit System bus and at McDonald's, where he was seen wearing a pink button-up long-sleeved shirt and a dark baseball hat.

The FBI and the MPD are requesting anyone with information regarding the robbery or anyone who can identify the subject in the photos to contact the FBI Milwaukee Field Office at (414) 276-4684 or the Milwaukee police at (414) 935-7360.
