MILWAUKEE, (CBS 58) -- People out at Summerfest are definitely feeling the heat during the opening weekend of Summerfest.
But to help folks out, Summerfest has a Milwaukee city bus out with the A-C going to help everyone cool off.
EMS crews out at the festival are also on high alert. They're urging people to stay hydrated.
Summerfest also does have misting stations and water fountains to help people fight the heat.
“I think this will top one of the hottest days it feels like so far definitely,” Andrew Olson, EMS supervisor said. “Anytime you’re at an event with elevated heat risk we are always prepared for it and it’s hard to say- some days we see nothing some days we might see something else.”
So far Olson says there has not been any serious heat related injuries.
