CLEVELAND, Ohio (CBS 58) -- Former CBS 58 reporter Winnie Dortch is in the hospital after shot her Monday morning, Oct. 7.
Dortch is currently a reporter at WOIO in Cleveland.
WOIO says Dortch was shot in an apparent domestic incident. According to the report, a man was pronounced dead at the scene and police recovered a gun.
Police tell WOIO Dortch's injuries are serious.
The suspect has been identified as 34-year-old Bryant Carter.
Dortch just announced she was moving back to her hometown of Chicago to be a reporter at WGN News later this year. It is her dream job.
