Former Milwaukee Buck Beno Udrih becomes head coach of the Wisconsin Herd 🏀

OSHKOSH, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Former Milwaukee Bucks player Beno Udrih has been named head coach of the Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Udrih, with over 13 years of experience in the NBA, including two seasons with the Bucks, and three years of coaching experience in the NBA and NBA G League, is set to take over as the fourth head coach in the team's history.

Most recently, Udrih served as a professional NBA scout for the Atlanta Hawks.

Udrih said in a Tuesday, Aug. 15 press release that he is excited to return to the area.

“It feels great to be back in Wisconsin,” Udrih said. “I have a long-standing respect for the Herd and Bucks as an entire organization. I’m excited to get to work and do my best to help develop our players both on and off the court.”
