Four Arrested after Sleeping in Car in the Middle of a Kenosha Street
On Tuesday, January 24 at 6:01 AM Kenosha County Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of 100th Avenue for a vehicle that was stopped in southbound lanes with no lights on.
When Deputies arrived they located a 2010 Dodge Avenger parked in the southbound lanes causing a hazard as it had no lights on and was completely in the travel lane on the dark roadway. The Deputy located four people in the vehicle, three of whom were sleeping.
The subsequent investigation revealed the Dodge Avenger was reported stolen to the Oshkosh Police Department on January 20. All four of the people in the vehicle were taken into custody. A search of the people in the car and the car itself yielded drug paraphernalia related to the use of methamphetamine and electronics that are believed to be stolen.
All four suspects were from Oshkosh.
