FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- There's now a new home in the Cape Crossing subdivision in Franklin, all thanks to local students.

Franklin High School students held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 15, in partnership with Tim O'Brien Homes, officially opening the house.

The home is part of the 6th annual Home Build Project.

District leaders, as well as friends and family, heard from students as they reflected on their experience building the home. We were told a family will be moving in next month.
