BAYSIDE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The annual Walk or Bike4Friendship event is scheduled to take place Sunday, June 28 starting at 9 a.m. at Ellsworth Park in Bayside, raising money for Friendship Circle of Wisconsin's job and programming services for kids and adults with disabilities and mental health challenges.
Levi Stein, president and CEO of Friendship Circle, joined us Monday, June 22 to chat about the event.
Participants can choose a 1- to 3-mile walk or ride for all abilities, along with 30-, 60- and 100-mile cycling routes. A catered breakfast and family activities, including a bounce house, face painting and horse rides, are planned before the event begins.
Organizers are aiming to raise $180,000 this year.
