MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Future Urban Leaders is set to hold its sixth annual Starry Night Gala to celebrate the growth and achievements of Milwaukee’s young leaders. The event aims to support programs that cultivate the next generation of leaders.
The gala will take place Thursday, Nov. 7 at Saint Kate - The Arts Hotel. Guests will experience an interview with two Future Urban Leaders students, moderated by Kim Shine from HYFIN and CBS 58's own Frankie Jupiter.
Darnell Hamilton, Executive Director of Future Urban Leaders, joined us on Monday, Nov. 4 to preview the gala.
Attendees can participate in an online auction featuring exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds supporting the organization’s programs. The evening will also feature live art from four local artists, with a live auction to purchase the pieces created during the event.
All funds raised will directly support efforts to close the opportunity gap by providing youth with the tools to become the next generation's leaders. For more information or to get involved, visit the Future Urban Leaders website.
