Germantown Fire Selected as Flight for Life Scene Call of the Year
The Germantown Fire Department was notified by Flight for Life that they were selected as the 2015 Scene Call of the Year after an accident on I-41 near Holy Hill Road on March 4, 2015.
During the accident, all three Flight for Life Helicopters were used to transport critically injured patients. The call was the first time in the history of Flight for Life that all three helicopters were used for the same incident.

Besides caring for the critically injured, a complex landing zone operation was conducted by the Germantown Fire Department to coordinate the arrival of all three helicopters and their crew and make sure the firefighters were also safe.
The Germantown Fire Department will be presented with an award on June 16 at the Village of Germantown Board Meeting.
