MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Expect subfreezing temperatures along with subzero wind chill numbers throughout the week (and perhaps the upcoming weekend). I don't see any major relief for at least a week. But temps will modify a bit by the middle of the coming week to highs in the mid teens. There's a Wind Chill Advisory through much of Wednesday morning for the Chicago area. I have a feeling ours will be extended until around this time as well. The advisory for our area goes through the first part of Monday by the way. At times, it'll feel like -20 to -30. This mean you should limit your time outside to 10 to 15 minutes. Pets included here. Frostbite could set up in a half an hour. Also, if you have exposed pipes to the outside, consider dripping them overnight to prevent bursting down the line. Make sure to warm up your car as well. Remember, a lot of times your engine isn't warmed up until you can feel the heat inside your car.
In terms of weather, it looks like a fairly quiet week with a few flurries Wednesday and then some light snow chances by the end of the week.
