Get to know the Badgers football 2022 recruiting class: S Austin Brown

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The next player is safety Austin Brown. Including transfers, Brown is one of two safeties coming in from the Badgers' 2022 recruiting class, with the other one being Utah transfer Kamo'i Latu. Latu was brought in with the help from fellow friend and current Badger Nick Herbig.

The team didn't really lose any key players in their safety room, which will help with the development of players coming in like Brown.

Brown received quite the recognition throughout his high school career, as mentioned above.

He also played quarterback his junior year and was an extremely mobile play caller. Brown rushed for 1,126 yards and 14 touchdowns in just six games.

On top of football, Brown was also a track and field athlete.

Brown has a strong build and his talent will be interesting to see how the Badgers utilize him in their secondary. Meaning, Brown has the talent to make plays from just about anywhere in the secondary.
