MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Giannis Antetokounmpo and his fiancée Mariah Riddlesprigger gave away free diapers to Milwaukee area families on Sunday, Nov. 19.
They have been working with the Milwaukee Diaper mission for a while now. Today, they handed out thousands of diapers to those in need at Hayat Pharmacy on Layton Ave.
Riddlesprigger says seeing the community and volunteers come together to support families "touched her heart."
"Becoming a mother made me realize how expensive diapers are and how wipes and everything, raising a child and it just made me realize like, you know there's people out there, they shouldn't have to choose between rent, groceries and diapers," said Riddlesprigger.
Families also got wipes, food, gift cards, children's pain reliever, and vaccines.
