MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- After months, if not years of speculation, the Milwaukee Bucks have traded Giannis Antetokounmpo, according to reports.

The future Hall of Famer heads to Miami with Bobby Portis in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round picks, one pick swap and one second-rounder, according to an ESPN report.

This ends a 13-year journey with the greatest Buck of all time.

Drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, Giannis arrived in Milwaukee as a skinny 18-year-old. In his first four seasons, Giannis showed flashes of what was to come. In 2016-17, Giannis increased his scoring average from 6.8 as a rookie to 22.9 points per game. It earned him his first All-Star nod, and he was named NBA's Most Improved Player.

Two seasons later, Giannis was named Most Valuable Player, leading the Bucks to their first 60-win season since 1981. He and the Bucks advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals before falling to the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

The next season, at just 25, Giannis bettered himself, winning MVP again as well as Defensive Player of the Year.

In 2020-21, Giannis and the Bucks achieved the long-term goal. Scoring 50-points, adding 14 rebounds and five blocks, Giannis helped the Bucks win Game 6 105-98 against the Phoenix Suns to win the NBA Finals 4-2. It's the Bucks' first championship since 1971. Giannis earned NBA Finals MVP.

Giannis leaves the Bucks as the franchise leader in numerous categories, including points (21,531), assists (4,484), rebounds (8,882), blocks (1,088), games played (895), minutes (29,273), triple-doubles (56), and is top 10 in steals (2nd), and 3-pointers made (6th).

Giannis is a 10-time All-Star starter and nine-time All-NBA selection, including seven times as a first team selection. As a two-time MVP, NBA Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, and NBA champion, Giannis was named to the NBA Top 75th Anniversary Team.
