Girl accused in Slenderman stabbing not fit to stand trial

WAUKESHA -- 12-year-old Anissa Weier, one of the two girls accused of stabbing a Waukesha girl 12 times, will be unable to help in her own defense.

The attorney representing Weier has sent a letter to a Waukesha County judge letting him know that forensic psychologist determined his client is not mentally fit to stand trial. Weier's co-defendant Morgan Geyser has already been declared incompetent to stand trial.

Both girls allegedly led their \"friend\" into a wooded area in Waukesha to stab her to death. The victim was stabbed 12 times and left for dead. The girls allegedly committed this act in an attempt to gain the favor of fictional character Slenderman.

The victim amazingly survived and is back at school.
