MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Some area Girl Scouts were flexing their STEM skills Monday, March 20.
Female leaders from Riley Construction hosted a night of interactive STEM activities to celebrate Women's History Month.
Girls learned how to design, create and build with activities like concrete pouring and 3-D modeling.
Organizers from Riley Construction say they want to show girls they have unlimited career options.
"Young leaders don't necessarily think of construction, as a woman, but there are a multitude of options and career paths," said Katie Thiele, HR manager at Riley Construction.
"I have molded something, so it's concrete, and we molded it into candleholders," said Winnie Supple, Girl Scout Troop #11032.
Scouts from this troop also earned their STEM career exploration badges Monday night.
