Man shot at Glendale Metro Market, 1 arrested

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Glendale police responded to the Metro Market on N. Port Washington Rd. June 20, for a reported shooting. 

A 34-year-old male was shot once in the leg and was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threating injuries.

The suspect was arrested on scene.

The investigation is ongoing.   

Metro Market released the following statement on the shooting: 

"We appreciate the community’s support as we reopened this morning following last night’s early closure. We want to thank the first responders for their quick response to the incident. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation, we are cooperating with and will be referring all questions to the Glendale Police Department."
