GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- No one in Green Bay knows when or if Aaron Rodgers is coming back, and the Packers can't afford to guess. So it was the Jordan Love show on the practice field Wednesday, June 9 with the second-year quarterback taking all of the first team reps during an impressive practice.

"Good days build confidence and then just stacking good days on top of each other. I definitely feel it was a good day for me and for everybody else as well. Just bouncing back from yesterday's practice," said Love.

Love connected on two-thirds of his throws during the 11-on-11 drills including a few deep balls and a successful two minute drills. It was hands down the best we've ever seen him look in a practice. But is the former first round pick with zero NFL snaps really ready to start week one?

"One-hundred percent. That's what I'm here for," said Love "I was drafted here to play quarterback so I'll definitely be ready week one. My mindset this whole off-season has been to get ready and get myself ready and that was whether Aaron was here or not here."

"You know you have a little success early and then the confidence starts to grow and you're able to go out there and execute at a higher level," Packers Head Coach Matt LeFleur said.

Love says he talked to Rodgers before coming to Green Bay for the off-season workouts and still has a great relationship with No. 12. But for now he's using this time as QB-1 in practice to build relationships with the rest of the starters.
