MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fried chicken has long been a staple of down-home American cuisine, and has even seen a growth in popularity worldwide. A new local restaurant is opening a 3,150 sq. ft. location that aims to celebrate fried chicken while doing so in a gourmet style.
Here Chicky Chicky will open at The Corners of Brookfield on Oct. 12 and describes itself as a "gourmet, fast-casual fried chicken restaurant."
What level of gourmet can diners expect? Well, Champagne will be on the menu.
Kori Konopka, Executive Chef, and Genevieve Vermeulen, General Manager of the restaurant joined us on Monday, Oct. 3 to discuss Here Chicky Chicky and what makes them different from other restaurants that offer fried chicken.
More information can be found by visiting The Corners of Brookfield online.
