Jury finds Milwaukee man guilty of homicide in death of transgender woman

Milwaukee County Sheriff\'s Office/Family of Chyna Long MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A jury found a Milwaukee man guilty Wednesday, April 16, in the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Chyna Long.
Antonio Currin was convicted of first degree reckless homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Long was found shot to death in October of 2023 near 89th and Dogwood.
Her family said she'd been visiting from Chicago.
Long's father said his daughter was a dance teacher, a hairdresser, a sister, a daughter, and a friend.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 29.
