GRAFTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Grafton Police Department took to Facebook on Tuesday, March 13 with a very "ruff" dilemma.

A new K-9 officer is entering the force, but every great officer needs a great name! The department is turning to the public to vote from among the finalists to choose the best name for the newest member of the force.

The department held an internal poll to dwindle down the list of names that the public can choose between. Among the names include Akima, Atlas, Hawk, Magnus, Maverick and Remmy.

The poll closes March 19 at 11:59 p.m.
