Grammy nominee Matisyahu to bring his reggae-hip-hop fusion to Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Reggae and hip-hop fusion artist Matisyahu is set to perform at The Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. The concert, part of his “Hold the Fire Tour,” is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 8 p.m.
This tour is in anticipation of his new album, "Hold the Fire," expected to release Feb. 2, 2024.
Matisyahu has been active in the music scene since 2000, developing a distinct sound that combines reggae, hip-hop, alternative rock and pop. His career includes seven studio albums, with the latest touted by the artists as being inspired by the four earth elements.
In a recent public appearance, Matisyahu performed at the March for Israel in Washington, D.C., where he presented his song “One Day” as a symbol of unity and a stand against antisemitism.
His 2005 single "King Without a Crown" reached the Top 40 in the United States, while his 2006 album "Youth" was nominated for a Grammy and achieved Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.
