GREENDALE (CBS 58) -- Greendale Schools sent a letter to senior students promising a graduation ceremony, even if it must be postponed "to a time when it is safe" for them to do so.
"As much as you hope for snow storms or cold weather to close school, in just these last few days, we all have been reminded that indeed we cherish being together in the same place to enjoy the sense of community and belonging of our school," a letter to students from Superintendent Kim Amidzich and Principal Steve Lodes.
"It's really relieving to know that we're going to have that moment together," said Olivia Gnadt, senior class officer, "We've been working our whole high school careers to get where we are right now."
Discussions are also underway about possibilities for prom that was originally scheduled to be held on April 18.
