Holidays on The Hop: Milwaukee's streetcar to host music performances, cookie giveaways and more

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's streetcar, The Hop, will once again showcase the spirit of the season with "Holidays on The Hop." 

The streetcar -- presented by Potawatomi Casino Hotel -- will play host to live, holiday-themed music performances along with holiday cookie giveaways, while each of the system's 20 stations will be adorned with festive holiday decor. 

The complete music schedule is as follows:

Sunday, Dec. 8 3-6 p.m. Milwaukee Choristers (3-4:30 p.m.); Sarah Fierek (4:30-6 p.m.)

Sunday, Dec. 15 3-5 p.m. JL Russell Jazz Trio

“The Hop is a fantastic way to experience the spirit of the holidays in the heart of Milwaukee,” Commissioner of Public Works Jerrel Kruschke said. “There are so many festive events happening downtown, including our wonderful ‘Holidays on The Hop’ performances right on board the streetcar. We encourage everyone to visit downtown, hop on board, and explore Milwaukee in a safe and convenient way this holiday season.”
