UPDATE: Suspect steals car after fleeing from police on I-94

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The suspect that fled the car on I-94 ran through the woods and into a residential area according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department.
The man found a black SUV running in a driveway with the keys in the ignition.
The suspect stole the SUV going east and is still on the run.
The Sheriff's Department reminds the public to not leave cars running with the keys in the them because they can be easily stolen and in this case, help suspects escape.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department tells CBS 58 the interstate closure was due to a chase that happened after a retail theft.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Office called in a description of a car after a retail theft from Johnson Creek. Delafield Police located the car on I-94 east and tried to pull it over.
The car eventually pulled over near Highway SS and a man fled the scene stealing another car and fleeing again.
Two female suspects in the car stayed there and were arrested.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- All lanes are now open on I-94 EB at County SS near Delafield.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- I-94 EB is closed at County SS due to law enforcement activity, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
It's believed the delay is expected to take an hour.
