RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One lane going north on I-94/41 has reopened. The left lane should reopen by 1:30 p.m.
The center and right lanes will remain closed with repairs for about a half mile starting at the Root River Bridge. The pavement needs to be repaved. According to DOT, frost heaves led to the closure and need for emergency repairs.
The delays are expected to last past the evening rush so long commutes north can be expected.

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine County Sheriff's Office is working with DOT and other law enforcement to shut down I-94 north at County Highway G because of "deteriorating road conditions."
Drivers have reported that the right lane was "terrible and falling apart". The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says there is a "severe dip" in the road.
Traffic will be diverted off at County Highway K during the closure. The Interstate is closed until Ryan Road.
According to DOT the closure is expected to last at least two hours for emergency road repairs.
