MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The group, Impact100 Greater Milwaukee, is celebrating 10 years of giving on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The non-profit is an organization of women that awards $100,000 of grant funding each year to various projects in the Milwaukee area.
The showcase event celebrated their decade of work and highlighted what's next for the group.
"We do a lot of educational programming for our members and the community also, so that our members not only can fund grants, but we have a real understanding of some of the really, the big needs in our community," said Carla Cummings, president with Impact100 Greater Milwaukee.
The group directs donations towards projects that relate to things like education, family, and the arts.
Since 2016, they have donated more than $3.2 million.
