Juneau Beer Garden to kick off second season

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Juneau Beer Garden is preparing to begin its second season in Milwaukee.

The opening ceremony will start at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, operating from Tuesdays to Fridays, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including holidays.

Free beer and root beer will be offered for around 20 minutes following the opening ceremony at 900 N. Prospect Ave.

According to a Wednesday, May 15 press release from Milwaukee County Parks, the venue features seating for over 250 people and offers 18 tap lines, including new beers like Pretty Good Amber and returning favorites such as Happy Place Midwest Pale Ale, Heavenly Haze and Frog Weiss Fruited Sour.

The 18 tap lines marks an increase of six lines, compared to the beer garden's inaugural season in 2023.

Food options will include various brats, sausages, hotdogs and Milwaukee Pretzel Company soft pretzels. Food trucks will rotate on Friday nights and all-day Saturday.

Live music will be available on opening night and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
