WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Be transported back to 160 million years ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth.
This weekend Jurassic Quest will invade the Milwaukee area with dozens of animatronic dinosaurs, from towering land creatures to 50-foot-long sea creatures.
Brainy Beth is one of the trainers you'll see roaming around with her baby T-rex, Tina.
"We try to make them as accurate as possible throughout history," said Beth. "All interacting in their respective environments throughout time. Exactly as paleontologists would've imagined them. We've worked really closely to bring it to life with paleontologists and dinosaur experts."
Once the expo center at the State Fairgrounds is transformed back to the Jurassic period, you'll be able to walk through and pet the baby dinosaurs. You'll also be able to talk to real fossil experts and dig for your own fossils.
"I love to see children's faces whenever they might know just a little bit more than their adult counterparts who come in, and it's an amazing bonding experience," said Beth.
People are encouraged to buy tickets online ahead of time before they go extinct.
