Jury finds co-owner of C-Viche restaurant guilty of sexual assault

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A jury found the owner of a Milwaukee restaurant guilty of sexual assault Friday, June 7. 

Karlos Soriano-Cabrera is accused of sexually assaulting at least five women, including employees of the restaurant he co-owned, C-Viche in Bay View. 

The criminal complaint detailed four incidents between March of 2017 and September of 2022. Victims told investigators sexual misconduct occurred on a daily basis, with employees describing their work environment as "toxic."

At least two women received sexual assault examinations and the state crime lab found Soriano-Cabrera's DNA.

Soriano-Cabrera was found guilty of three counts third degree sexual assault and one count fourth degree sexual assault.

A sentencing hearing has been set for July 11.
