WEST BEND -- 19-year-old Daniel Bartelt has been found guilty of First Degree Intentional Homicide for killing Hartford resident Jessie Blodgett.
Blodgett's body was found by her mother as she was returning from work on July 15, 2013. Police say Jessie Blodgett attended a cast party after a Fiddler on the Roof performance in Hartford. She died within 12 hours of that party.
Detectives found strangulation marks on Blodgett's neck, but couldn't find anything in her home or near her body that may have been used for it.
Blodgett's director, Jerry Becker tells CBS 58 News that, \"We are very gratified that the work of law enforcement has resulted in an arrest.\"
Bartelt is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on October 14, 2014 at 1:30 p.m.
