Kenosha police investigating after 14-year-old girl struck, killed by car

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police are investigating after a 14-year-old girl was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday, Aug. 29. 

Officers responded to the 1900 block of 52nd Street just after 8 a.m. 

The child, identified as Natalia Lazamas, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police say the driver of the involved vehicle, a 53-year-old woman, remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Officials say impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.
