Kenosha woman cited for 2nd OWI also had a child in the car

A 31-year-old woman is accused of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 2nd offense when she was pulled over Sunday night on the highway in Racine County. The woman also had a 12-year-old child in the car with her.

The woman from Kenosha was stopped on I-41/94 southbound just south of Highway 20 in Racine County for a driving complaint. After she was questioned and given a field sobriety test, it was determined that was operating under the influence.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital for a legal blood draw and released to a responsible party. The 12-year-old child in the car with her was released to family members.
