MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Saturday, Oct. 15 is National Cheese Curd Day, but it wouldn't be right for Wisconsites to celebrate for just one day. Lakefront Brewery is getting the party started early with its Curd Day Party on Thursday, Oct. 13.

They're serving up three different types of cheese curds-- original, dill, and beer pretzel. Plus they have poutine and a footlong cheese curd on a stick, something only usually found at the Wisconsin State Fair!

Lakefront will open early for the event at 11 a.m. and if you don't have time to come inside and enjoy a Riverwest Stein with your curds, you can stop at the Curd Wagon, which will be parked right out front right out front for you to grab curds and go.

Every year Lakefront celebrates Curd Day with unique cheese curd offerings. This year they chose staff and customer favorites to bring back.

The Original: Their famous beer-battered and fried cheese curds with garlic ranch dipping sauce.
Dill Pickle Curds: Attention all pickle fans! Pickle brine infused beer batter, flour, pickling spices and herb breaded, then deep fried and tossed in pickle seasoning. So much flavor, no sauce is needed.
Beer & Pretzel Curds: Move over Star Wars, there’s a new trilogy in town! Presenting beer, cheese curds, and pretzels. Beer-battered, pretzel, flour and malt tossed, then deep fried. Served with a drizzle of beer reduction sauce and beer-infused ranch.

Footlong Cheese Curd: The ultimate conquest for the cheese curd enthusiast. Let them take over your Instagram with a literal foot of beer-battered and deep-fried cheese curd on a stick! Served with a double order of garlic ranch because you’ll need it! #footlongcheesecurd
French Onion Poutine: Crispy, seasoned French fries topped with fresh cheese curds then smothered with rich french onion gravy and diced chives. A vegetarian delight! (Vegan option also available)
