SAWYER COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Local police agencies are showing their support of an 8-year-old boy who was allegedly bullied by his classmates.

Jonah, 8, of northern Wisconsin was allegedly made fun of for dressing like a police officer.

When officers and deputies in Sawyer County learned what happened, they decided to surprise Jonah with a new bicycle.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department also heard what happened and chimed in to help. They sent over some K9 plush dolls, a water bottle, a badge, and some stickers.

They also included a note which said in part, "Just wanted to send you a little something from our department to brighten your day and to remind you to rise above those that try to bring you down."
