MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A block party presented by nonprofit Rock the Vote is scheduled to take place Saturday, Oct. 26 to encourage early voting in the 2024 election.

Milwaukeeland, headlined by Lil Uzi Vert, is set to take place outside Milwaukee Area Technical College’s downtown campus at 700 W. State St.

The event requires tickets, which are being released in batches. The public can arrive by 10 a.m. for a chance to secure VIP tickets or by noon to guarantee general admission tickets. Tickets are free and can be obtained at the event’s website.

Milwaukeeland will feature a half pipe, nail art, gaming, mini golf, food trucks and more. Lil Uzi Vert is expected to perform at 1 p.m.

"Rock the Vote along with all the performers and supporters are adding to the enthusiasm surrounding early voting. Especially in Milwaukee, young people will help decide who leads this country, and their votes matter," said Mayor Cavalier Johnson, as cited on the League of Women Voters’ website.

Early voting will be accessible at MATC, and attendees are encouraged to vote before or during the block party.
