Look up! Chance to see Northern Lights in southeast Wisconsin Thursday and Friday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- This week, folks in southern Wisconsin have a chance to view the Northern Lights. 

According to a post from the National Weather Service (NWS), dry weather conditions will allow for ideal conditions to see the spectacular sight the next couple of nights, specifically Thursday, Oct. 11 and Friday, Oct. 12. 

Our CBS 58 Ready Weather team expects temperatures to be warmer away from the lake on Thursday, with temps into the upper 60s lakeside and low 70s inland. 

Friday, we expect temperatures to reach the 80s.
