Make-A-Wish Wisconsin reached a major milestone on Wednesday.
The group granted their 6,500 wish with the help of a famous red-headed clown.
Ronald McDonald rode into Wauwatosa on a custom bicycle. The bike was a gift for 16-year-old Avrey Seidl. Avrey is living with Rett Syndrome, a disorder that keeps her from walking for long periods of time.
Avrey's mom says the bike will allow the teen to enjoy the outdoors with her family.
"We thought this would be something that would allow her to get out with us and be able to get to areas that she otherwise wouldn't be able to," her family said.
The Make-A-Wish foundation says more than 350 children across the state are currently in the process of having their wishes granted.
