Man arrested by University of Wisconsin Police twice for taking photos in women's bathroom
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The UW-Madison Police Department arrested 18-year-old Madison man Larry Seidl.
Just before 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, UWPD was called to Ogg Hall after a report of a man who had entered a women’s bathroom and stuck his phone under the restroom stall she was occupying. Two other victims in Ogg recounted a similar story.
Before police arrived, staff located and confronted Seidel in a female restroom. He fled and left the residence hall.
Police found Seidel a short time later near the 700 block of State Street wearing identical clothing described by all three victims. Seidl was arrested on two counts of felony bail jumping, with other recommended charges forthcoming.
Seidl was arrested by University of Wisconsin Police last week after he entered Sellery Hall and pointed his cell phone camera at a student who was in a women’s restroom. Seidl had an initial appearance in Dane County Court Thursday for those previous charges, as well as other charges from a separate case that the City of Madison Police Department was investigating.
He posted bail Thursday evening before getting arrested the second time.
