RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine County officials arrested an alleged drunk driver who was traveling over 100 miles per hour with four passengers, including two children, on Sunday.

The Racine County Sheriff's Department says the driver was Max Hagen, a 35-year-old Eau Claire man.

A deputy monitoring traffic on I-41 northbound saw a vehicle going nearly 100 mph in a 70 zone.

Hagen accelerated to 103 before stopping for the deputy.

Officials say the mother, a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old were in the car.

Hagen refused a field sobriety test from deputies, however deputies say his preliminary breath test was .19.

Hagen claimed to police that he had five to eight bottles of vodka that day.
